Our employees are truly the key to our success and our guides hold an unsurpassed reputation for safety and river knowledge. We work from a team-building concept which creates a family oriented environment at our resort.
This carries over to our guests in the form of a genuine and friendly service ethic that's visible in all areas of our company.
We use only the finest quality, state-of-the-art river equipment available on the market today. Our guides are fun, personable, and skilled outdoors persons who understand the dynamics and needs of vacationing families. We employ mature, conscientious professionals dedicated to making your experience exhilarating and safe.
We take safety seriously. Sparing no expense in recruiting some of the best guides in the industry, each spring our team goes through intensive training, racking up over hundreds of pre-season miles and working through countless emergency scenarios. Each guide must pass a written exam and several on-river evaluations prior to guiding commercial river trips. Every trip that goes out has a least one radio on board for direct communication with our headquarters.
All guides carry First Aid kits and are First Aid, CPR and Swift Water Rescue certified. Most have ---- Wilderness First Responder, Advanced First Aid, EMT or other specialized certifications.
Experience the thrill of a lifetime with Great Northern Resort.
